Notes from Ms. Kelly-December 10th :)

We are quickly winding down to Christmas break and, yet, it is still busy in our school with so many activities and projects occurring. Our 5th through 8th grade has been working diligently on a 12 Days of Christmas project using technology! The finished products will be shared this week! I can’t wait to share them with you!
Our preschool through 4th graders will be visiting the Elgin Fire House this week and our 5th through 8th grades will be going to see the movie Wonder.
In addition, on Tuesday evening, our band students will perform a concert with other area students at St. John’s Lutheran.
This past weekend, our PTC hosted the Polar Express Pajama Party which was a huge hit with the kids and included crafts, fun activities, a viewing of the movie, hot cocoa and cookies, and an impromptu dance party at the end! Thank you so much to everyone who participated in organizing and working this event!
Also, we had Ugly Christmas Sweater themed Bingo which was another fun family event! Thank you to our Preserving the Legacy committee for organizing this evening to help raise funds for our school!
Don’t forget to join us tomorrow night for the Preserving the Legacy All Committee meeting tomorrow night to get an update on all of the exciting ways each committee has come up with to help our school. That meeting will be in the cafeteria at 6:30.
As promised, the last three days of school before break will be themed dress down days. They are as follows:
Monday (12/18): Comfy Christmas- Flannels and Sweatpants/sweatshirts. This is NOT a pajama day.
Tuesday (12/19): Head to Toe-Let it Snow- Christmas hats and socks. Regular dress down attire.
Wednesday (12/20): Christmas Best-Christmas attire-red/green
Have a wonderful week and God bless each of our families! 
